Jamison was born and seven days later Stephanie called me and his first picture session was set! It was my first time shooting a newborn besides my own 18 months ago! He was a doll, literally. Other than the few times things were probably just a little cold, he was a charmer. Some of the shoot he slept through while some he was awake, he seriously could not have been a better mini model. I learned a lot about lighting and all of the behind the scene work that goes into a session with a newborn. Be sure when you do a newborn shoot to keep towels handy for those newborn accidents I used a few things like a bean bag, a couple throw blankets, a basket, some old trunks and a few things that his mommy had instead of creating some fancy backdrop I scanned the house to find the best natural light. Although, this house had a great bones…not everyone will so I do plan on making a newborn backdrop out of pvc, blog soon to follow! I can’t wait for more of this little bugger…I have a few sneek peeks for ya!
Isn’t he just precious? I just can’t get over him and all his cuteness! Congratulations Stephanie he is perfect!
